Let’s do Pull Up’s!
My 5 favorite ways to train your upper body to learn how to do a pull up 💪🏾
Dead Hangs: Start wtih 5 seconds, build to 30-60 seconds and do 3 rounds
capular pull ups: start with 5 reps, build to 10 reps and do 3 rounds
Assisted Pulls : 3 different way : start with 1 of each build to 5-10 of each!
Jack knife (big assist push with feet from bottom to top) use the heaviest band or step stool below you.
Eccentric assisted Same set Up. Reverse motion. (from top lowering down)
Less assist pull - use the lightest band or use the step stool behind you & press from top foot on bottom )

I also suggest these exercises I do in my fitness classes :
Rows: single arm or both with dumbells, or kettlebell. Or using a machine at a gym.
ABS!!!! All abdominal exercises. Choose your favorite!
Reverse Flys
Tricep Extensions & Bicep Curls
Focused eccentric lowering on a shoulder press with dumbbells ( pretend your body is moving through honey)
