Grab your baking soda and add just a few drops each of one or more of the following oils that super nourish and support: your hair, scalp, skin, and especially help relieve greasy hair.
Rosemary, cedarwood, melaleuca, juniper berry, basil, cypress, peppermint... just to name a few.
You can grab one of these glass shaker bottle from shareoils.com or you can just dump the mixture into a mason jar and use about 1/4-1/2 cup depending on how long or thick your hair is.
Add the baking soda & essential oils mixture to your scalp, get it wet and massage it into your head. Then rinse. You scalp will feel refreshed and sometimes tingly if you used peppermint :) and the greasy build up that just naturally occurs when we over wash our hair will be gone. Repeat for a day or two if necessary.
I do this about once a month.
Honestly, if I would use ONLY wash my hair 2 times a week, that would keep me from having to do this. On weeks I do that, between washes, I use a mixture very similar to this!
Add these same hair and scalp healthy oil or any combo of oils to baby powder or arrowroot powder. Bam! You have a dry shampoo. Here is an exact recipe from doTERRA: https://www.doterra.com/US/en/blog/diy-dry-shampoo
